Monoi oil is one of the most ancient preparations of Raau Tahiti (the use of healing plants in Tahitian medicine). Tahitian for “scented oil,” monoi is a fragrant elixir that is made by steeping the petals of Tahitian gardenias in coconut oil.
Monoi oil can be used to help moisturise the skin, reduce inflammation, relieve dry and itchy skin and can help the skin to appear more supple and soft.
Monoi is a soothing and protective oil that deeply hydrates skin without stripping it of its natural oils. It’s base is coconut oil, which is packed with protective antioxidants like Vitamin E and ferulic acid. These ingredients neutralize the free radicals that cause fine lines and wrinkles and help to delay the visible signs of aging.
APPLICATION
Massage the Monoi Whipped Body Butter into the skin. Watch as the whipped cream turns to oil and gives your skin a youthful, healthy glow – even to the driest of skin! The effect of this lasts for hours and can be used all over the body. Use on your face after applying the Moisturising Serum as a gentle skin illuminating primer to give your face a beautiful youthful glow.
